We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Guard to join our team at a health facility in Rock Hill, NY . As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a visible security presence
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or individuals into the facility
- Respond to alarms and security incidents promptly
- Escort individuals or assist with the movement of assets within the facility when required
- Complete reports detailing observations, incidents, and actions taken
Qualifications:
- Prior law enforcement experience preferred or a minimum of 7 years' experience in security roles
- Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid security guard license or certification
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
