Blue Elephant in Wayne is seeking is looking for highly motivated, passionate Bussers to join the front of the house team in creating memorable experiences for our guest.
The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of beverage and food service standards as well as a professional demeanor and, most importantly, the desire to learn and grow in a team environment.
Positions include full-time and part-time, year round and seasonal, weekend and holiday availability is required.
Requirement:
- Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
- Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours
- Multi-tasking abilities and ability to thrive in a busy high-energy environment
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment
- Excellent people skills.
- Humble, hard-working and willing to learn and grow
- Efficient and able to run the food to our guests in a timely manner
Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to ensure a clean dining area for guests.
- Assist in bussing dishes and glassware to maintain a smooth flow of service.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and provide excellent customer service.
- Support kitchen staff as needed with food handling and catering preparations.
- Utilize hospitality skills to enhance the overall dining experience for guests.
