Job Title: Propane Technician

Location: Berkeley Springs, WV

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Propane Technician with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the propane industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe installation, maintenance, and servicing of propane systems for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The technician will work closely with customers to ensure the proper functioning of their propane equipment while adhering to safety standards and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair propane systems and equipment, including tanks, regulators, piping, and appliances.
• Conduct safety checks and inspections of propane systems to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve propane system issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions and offering recommendations on propane use and safety.
• Maintain accurate service records and report any issues or potential hazards to management.
• Operate company vehicles and equipment safely and responsibly.
• Participate in on-call or emergency service rotations as needed.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience working with propane systems.
• Knowledge of propane safety codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Propane Technician certification or related qualifications preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• CDL Class B with Hazmat & Tanker or ability to obtain
• Ability to pass random drug testing

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 75 lbs).
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
• Comfort with working at heights and in confined spaces, as necessary.
