- Review Jobs and Work Orders with Plumbing Manager and Supervisors each morning and throughout the day
- Receive and Process new Requests from CSR and Plumbing Supervisors
- Notify and Record Requests for Standard and Emergency Utility Locates
- Verify Locates are completed PRIOR to any digging or excavation
- Maintain Check in / out sheet for Specialty Equipment – Camera’s, Locating Devices, Major Tools
- Enter / Update Jobs in Sage and Dispatch Programs
- Process POs for Material Requests – Plumbing, Septic Lines, Tanks, Risers, etc
- Communicate and Coordinate Work with Plumbing Personnel, Materials, Equipment and Customers
- Receive completed timesheets and work orders from Personnel, print out GPS, and provide to the Plumbing Manager for Review and Approval
- Receive and Respond to Emergency customer requests
- Address problems and requests by communicating information or providing solutions
- Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance
- Use phone and /or computer to send work order info to personnel
- Via GPS, Monitor the route and status of drivers to, from, and on customer sites
- Provide drivers with information about traffic, construction work zones, accidents, weather information or any other obstacles that may affect their travel route
- Send out nightly and next-day Schedules
- Answer Phones for Service Requests and POs for Tech’s
- Complete the Daily Call Sheet for Tracking
- Verify Plumbing Personnel have proper paperwork and safety equipment daily
- Coordinate work with other Departments
- Provide management with any reports upon request
- May work as on-call dispatcher on weekends
- Service Titan experience (preferred)
- Previous dispatching experience
- Experience in using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong problem-solving capabilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strategic thinking capabilities to evaluate, assess, and make recommendations for change
- Analytical and comfortable navigating data to derive insights and define strategies
- Ability to provide unparalleled customer satisfaction
- Be detail-oriented and a highly organized multi-tasker
