The Raw Material Handler is responsible for the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of raw materials within the facility. This role ensures that materials are accurately received, properly stored, and readily available for production processes, while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving and Inspection:

- Receive raw materials and verify quantities against purchase orders.
- Inspect materials for quality and report discrepancies to management.
- Storage and Inventory Management:

- Organize and maintain raw material storage areas.
- Utilize inventory management systems to track material usage and availability.
- Material Handling:

- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move materials.
- Prepare and package materials for production runs as needed.
- Collaboration:

- Work closely with production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and logistics personnel.
- Safety and Compliance:

- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Participate in safety training and report any unsafe conditions or practices.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.

- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software.
