What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Line (Part-time) position at Blue Gate Hospitality?
Join our team at the Blue Gate Restaurant to work on the kitchen line. In this fast-paced job, you will ensure that all plates are portioned properly, look professional, and leave the kitchen efficiently. Other responsibilities include:
- Making salads and sandwiches.
- Stocking and organizing the line.
- Cleaning and sanitizing the workstation.
- Preparing and making chicken.
- Operating fryers.
- Assisting with various kitchen tasks as assigned.

You will be scheduled to work three evenings per week (our closing shift), including Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays! The hourly wage for adults starts at $16.00 per hour. Experience is not required, and we provide paid training. Our kitchen staff is cross-trained so that each person can build new skills and reach their full potential.

Kitchen Line Requirements:
- Practice safe food handling.
- Ability to perform the job's physical demands, including working in high-heat conditions, standing on your feet for long periods, bending, moving, reaching, and stretching.
- Must be teachable with a desire to learn.
- Work efficiently and accurately.
- Must keep the workstation clean and organized.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be willing and available to work evenings, weekends (Fridays and Saturdays), and holidays.
