What are the responsibilities and job description for the Meat Quality Assurance Specialist position at Blue Grotto Dive Resort?
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Meat Butcher to run our new facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Harvest beef.
- Cutting and packaging authorized beef and lamb items according to company policies using knives and power equipment.
- Custom and USDA processing.
- Wrapping, weighing, and pricing cuts of meat with accuracy.
- Labeling packages according to COOL, USDA, and internal standards for efficient product management.
- Maintaining proper order and cleanliness of all facilities.
- Assistance developing HACCP Plan.
Requirements:
- Experience with harvest, processing, and packaging of beef.
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Butcher certification is preferred not required.
- Ability to work efficiently with high-quality results.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
