BlueHalo's Command, Acquire, Track, Assess, eNgage and Analyze (CATANA) team is a leading force in the development of innovative solutions for some of the most pressing challenges faced by the Department of Defense (DoD). We collaborate with Warfighters and stakeholders to shape the future of missile defense planning. Our team uses cutting-edge technologies to develop systems that address missile defense challenges, working with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) C2BMC Program Office and other critical defense initiatives.
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our CATANA development team. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with the CATANA Product Owner to complete complex development tasks and contribute to the daily operations of the software development process. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for both front-end and back-end development, who thrives in an Agile environment. You will be integrated into a fast-paced team working on complex and critical software development for missile defense planning systems.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the CATANA team to design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack solutions that support missile defense planning.
- Work directly with the CATANA Product Owner and stakeholders to ensure development tasks meet requirements and are delivered on schedule.
- Participate in daily sprint activities, including planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives in an Agile environment.
- Develop and maintain software components using cutting-edge technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Node.js, Python, and Vue.js.
- Build and deploy cloud-native solutions, leveraging AWS or Azure, in support of missile defense planning and operations.
- Create and implement full-stack prototypes, assessment tools, and production components for missile defense planners.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the CATANA product, ensuring high-quality and performant software solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices relevant to full-stack development and missile defense planning.
