What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Engineer position at Blue-Halo.org?
We are seeking a Network Engineer to be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and maintaining secure and efficient communication networks that meet mission-critical requirements. The successful candidate will ensure network infrastructure complies with DoD standards and policies, including cybersecurity mandates, and support military operations.
On any given day, the selected candidate will be asked to undertake the following :
- Network Design : Develop and deploy secure LANs, WANs, and communication systems to meet DoD needs.
- Optimization : Conduct diagnostics, updates, and performance tuning for reliability and availability.
- Cybersecurity : Enforce security measures per IA and RMF standards.
- Monitoring : Oversee network health, resolve issues, and address vulnerabilities.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate records of configurations and incidents.
- Collaboration : Partner with system admins, cybersecurity teams, and mission staff.
- Innovation : Recommend technologies to enhance network performance and security.
YOU ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE THIS :
Salary Range : $100,000 - $183,000
