What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Care Partner position at Blue Haven Memory Care?
The Caregiver role at Blue Haven is fast paced and fun! We are a small privately owned community of 16 residents that believes in Always Doing The Right Thing! We are currently seeking to add a teammate who is especially reliable and flexible, with the ability to be on call and is willing to be trained for all shifts. The ideal candidate communicates well with residents and co-workers, responds to emergencies, fosters teamwork and communication, helps elderly residents with dementia perform ADL's, such as dressing, bathing, grooming, meal assistance, medication administration, mobility, laundry, light housekeeping, and supervision. Experience in Memory Care is preferred, but will train the right person! A person who is KIND, FLEXIBLE, COMPASSIONATE, HONEST, THOROUGH, and FUN is exactly what we are looking for!
Qualifications
- Core skills: Compassion, patience, empathy
- Premium Skills: Experience in memory care, familiarity with Alzheimer's and dementia
- Relevant Skills: First aid/CPR certification, medication administration training
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.25 - $16.75 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
