Permitting Clerk - Must be abel to travel from the Gulf Breeze, FL office to the Freeport, FL office weekly** Must be able to work in both locations on a weekly basis.
We are looking for a responsible Permitting Clerk to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the position include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs. The Permit Clerk responsibilities include maintaining appropriate filing systems submitting permit applications. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file all permits with various municipalities
- Track status of all open and/or pending permits
- Research property records via tax collector website
- Assigning incoming LEADS to Sales Representatives and following up with LEAD status
- Develop expertise in product, industry and process knowledge in relevant product areas
- Receive inbound calls from customers
- Perform data entry as needed
- Assist operations personnel as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Prior office software experience (Microsoft Office or Google’s G Suite)
- Polished and professional in demeanor and possess a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to treat others with respect and gain trust and respect.
- Exceedingly positive in his/her work attitude
- Strong typing and computer skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask
- Skilled in verbal and written communications

Salary: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year DOE
