Position Summary :
As a Product Analyst, you will be an integral part of our Provider Analytics team, creating product solutions through data that add value and insights to our customers. The Provider Analytics team at BHI is focused on developing methods to measure and identify cost drivers among more than a million providers across the country using billions of medical and pharmacy claims. This role will work closely with Product Managers and Product Directors to use analytics, visualization skills, and market / customer awareness, to identify and size opportunities, develop user stories and concepts, and engage with technical teams to develop initial product concepts and prototypes to shape product roadmaps across BHI's entire product portfolio
Responsibilities :
- Participate in end-to-end solutions (requirements gathering, planning, solutioning, development, testing, QA / QC, and documentation)
- Work directly with product, business, and engineering teams to influence the creation of new product experiences and improve existing ones that meet customer needs
- Write product requirements, contribute code, and contribute to the analytic methodology and measurements for our current a future state Provider products
- Define and translate business requirements to actionable technical requirements for implementation by technical team members, such as SQL developers, data architects, data engineers, and BI designers
- Using Jira, translate the product business requirements into technical features by creating user stories to bridge the gap between the product and technical teams enabling developers to build functionality
- Ensure the backlog is up to date with well documented stories and assist with prioritization as needed.
- Working with Product Owners, create enhancements and recommend improvements by analyzing data and identifying the most impactful ways data and analytics can drive and accelerate growth
- Assist in identifying problems to solve, gathering user research and input, and outlining proposed solutions, supported with data
- Develop data visualizations, including reports, dashboards, and analyses to distribute data insights in an easily digestible manner to all relevant stakeholders
- Conduct competitive and market landscape analysis that also considers customer trends and buying behaviors
