In this role, you will assist in maintaining data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance while ensuring high data quality and adherence to internal policies. This position is ideal for an analytical thinker with an interest in healthcare data governance, compliance frameworks, and operational workflows.

This position is ideal for an analytical thinker with an interest in healthcare data governance, compliance frameworks, and operational workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring and enforcing compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and other relevant data privacy regulations and ethical standards .
- Support data access and usage policies to ensure data is used ethically and securely.
- Work with data engineers and analysts to maintain data quality standards, metadata documentation, and data lineage tracking.
- Assist in data audits and reporting, ensuring adherence to internal and external compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support data-sharing agreements and vendor compliance.
- Help implement and refine data governance tools and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide input on data privacy, security, and governance considerations.
- Is familiar with SOC 2 compliance and its impact on company policies and processes.
- Understands importance of adhering to SOC 2 requirements and maintains an effort to do so.
- Reviews and understands the Employee Handbook, and internal policies that define individual security responsibilities, and maintains segregation of duties in accordance to their role requirements
- Bachelor's degree in data science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in public health, biomedical data science, or related field a plus.
- 1-3 years healthcare experience in data an alytics, data science, data governance, data operations, or related role s .
- Knowledge of governance, risk management and compliance fra meworks.
- Basic knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, and other data privacy regulations.
- Experience with data management tools, SQL, or cloud-based data platforms is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to interpret regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
Salary : $100 - $125
