Position Summary:
As a Product Analyst, you will be an integral part of a product team creating solutions that leverage data to deliver valuable insights to our customers. This role will work closely with Product Managers and Product Directors to identify and size opportunities, develop user stories and concepts, and engage with technical teams to shape product roadmaps across BHI’s entire product portfolio. Additionally, this role will play a key part in customer-facing product operations, ensuring smooth product adoption, troubleshooting customer issues, and driving feedback loops to continuously improve our offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Lead customer-facing product operations, including managing client relations, supporting product adoption, and ensuring seamless external product lifecycles.
- Serve as a key liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring product feedback is captured, analyzed, and incorporated into product development.
- Support the use of Datavant/tokenized data, ensuring customers understand and maximize their data assets.
- Identify problems to solve, gather user research and input, and outline proposed solutions, supported with data.
- Conduct competitive and market landscape analysis, considering customer trends and buying behaviors.
- Utilize user analytics tools to gain a deep understanding of how end users behave, then use that understanding to define and track KPIs across our product portfolio.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, designers, and developers to define features and user acceptance criteria.
- Act as a product expert for customer support teams, helping troubleshoot customer-reported issues and optimize product usability.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Technical Support to ensure a smooth end-to-end customer experience.
- Support administrative aspects of product operations, including scheduling client meetings, preparing agendas, capturing meeting notes, and tracking action items.
Requirements:
- BS/MS in Business, Economics, Healthcare, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, such as product operations, customer success, account management, or product support.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations, identify root causes, and develop innovative solutions.
- Ability to write basic to intermediate SQL queries is a nice to have
- Passion for analyzing data and designing innovative solutions, even in the presence of incomplete or ambiguous inputs.
- Previous experience in software product management, business analysis, and/or competitive market intelligence.
- Strong background in customer-facing product operations, product support, and customer experience optimization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, actionable insights.
- Ability to drive complex analysis using diverse data sources, including structured and unstructured data.
- Comfort with ambiguity, with the ability to independently define and test hypotheses and solve problems without well-defined direction.
- Proven ability to think strategically while executing tactically, balancing short-term needs with long-term product success.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with experience managing schedules, meeting coordination, and action tracking.
- Familiarity with SOC 2 compliance and its impact on company policies and processes.
- Commitment to adhering to SOC 2 requirements and maintaining compliance efforts.
The actual salary an employee can expect to receive, plus bonus pursuant to the terms of any bonus plan if applicable, will depend on experience, seniority, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law. Base salary range: 100k – 145k base
