Job Details:
Mid-Size building and development company based in Charlotte, NC is looking for a Construction Manager. This is a site supervision/management role and would require someone with 5 years experience in residential single family and townhome construction.

Position Summary:
- Manage residential construction schedule & related activities at assigned project site(s).
- Majority of the construction will be townhome related.
- Willingness to love your job, portray a great attitude, team player, and be highly compensated as part of our team.
- Work in the Charlotte Metro area.
- Be attentive to deadlines and communicate strongly with VP Construction based in Raleigh, NC office.
- Willingness to help with some processes where/when necessary.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and maintain construction schedules for homes in various communities to meet company goals.
- Complete any customer meetings with enthusiasm and take pride in the finished product.
- submit paperwork, checklists, and applications as required.
- Manage vendors for success in your community
- Inspect your homes daily to ensure the quality you produce is being noticed at any given time
- Ongoing attention to Job Site Safety
- Assist with stormwater inspections and repairs as needed if necessary.
- Authorize payments to vendors upon satisfaction of scope completion.
- Become intimate with your assigned project to fully understand goals and to help prevent unnecessary variances to budgets.
- Problem solving skills.
Knowledge, Skills and Background:
- Positive and ambitious attitude toward learning.
- 5 years’ experience preferred in a residential construction environment whether it be production volume based or custom home based experience.
- Townhome construction experience a plus.
- Self Starter mentality.
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent written, verbal communication and desire for stellar customer satisfaction
· Must be able to safely navigate in and around a construction site.
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to pass drug test prior to employment.
