What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Blue House Companies?
- Prior Maintenance experience preferred.
Tasks expected:
- Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping etc.
- Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps in walls etc.
- Painting/Making Apartment move in ready
- Check control panels and electrical panels to identify issues
- Do garden/yard upkeep, collecting trash etc.
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, replacing faucets, repairing drain lines.
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation)
- Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations
- Report to a Manager for issues
- Track hourly duties in a neat and organized fashion
- Document work orders and completed tasks with photos.
Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
Experience using hand and electrical tools preferred
- Must have clean drivers license
Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Physical stamina and dexterity
Solid work ethic that can work remotely/individually to accomplish tasks'
