Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and personable Front of House (FOH) Server to join our team. The ideal candidate is professional, energetic, and dedicated to providing exceptional service to every guest. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring an outstanding dining experience by guiding guests through our menu, taking orders, delivering food and drinks, and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a friendly, professional demeanor and provide attentive service throughout their meal.
- Guide guests through the menu, making knowledgeable recommendations on food, wine, and cocktails.
- Take accurate orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation and quality meet Restaurant 1796 standards.
- Monitor tables, anticipate guest needs, and provide seamless, personalized service.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the dining room, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow and uphold the restaurant’s hospitality standards.
- Handle guest concerns with professionalism and ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous serving experience in a high-quality, full-service restaurant preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails (or a willingness to learn).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
