ISP/MDU Technician
Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)
- Pre-wire multi dwelling unit (MDU) new construction with coax or cat5e cable.
- Post-wire existing, occupied (MDU) with coax or cat 5e cable using existing or new route.
- Pull Fiber through new/existing empty or occupied conduits using pull line by hand. (this work may be in drop ceilings, closets, outside in manhole systems or underground)
- Tone/tag cable line and wall fishing
- Install cover plates, test, and ID all outlets
- Install distribution lock boxes
- Reconnect all active customers and confirm all services
- Terminate voice/data
- Be able to comprehend prints, maps, designs, and construction equipment
- Operates vehicles, hand tools, power tools, ladders, signal level meters, volt meters, converters, cable locators, and other test equipment
- Accurately complete all required company documentation for each assignment according to established company standards and procedures (daily vehicle inspections, productivity reports, etc.)
- Stock and load truck with materials to ensure adequate supply for daily work assignments
- Organize materials, tools and equipment
- Complete daily equipment safety inspections and maintenance checks
- Perform work in a safe manner and comply with all established company safety policies and procedures
- Assists other team personnel in the performance of their duties when requested. May perform other duties not listed.

- Ability to communicate professionally with co-workers, homeowners, and customers
- Must be reliable, responsible, and dependable work attendance
- Must have valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass drug and background screening
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
