- Operate horizontal directional drill locator equipment in accordance with company and industry
- Plan horizontal directional drill bore path for installation of conduit, duct, cable.
- Observe obstacles that may include unlocated or private utilities
- Have understanding of various ground conditions: rock, clay, sand, cobble, etc.
- Perform routine labor (potholing, equipment setup, conduit, duct, cable placement, set
- Assure all located utilities that are in the construction path have been potholed
- Document and record the finished product
- Ensure cleanliness of job sites
- Work efficiently and complete work in a timely manner
- Ensure accountability of all tools and materials
- Willing to work in all temperatures, climates, and weather conditions
- Ability to work efficiently, independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Must be able to bend, stand, sit, crawl, climb, and lift throughout each day
- Ability to communicate professionally with co-workers, homeowners, and customers
- Must be reliable, responsible, and dependable work attendance
- Must be willing to travel
- Must have valid driver's license - Class A CDL preferred
- Must be able to pass drug and background screening
