Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol and secure assigned premises as well as deter illegal activities
- Monitor surveillance equipment and conduct regular security checks
- Respond to alarms and security incidents in a timely manner
- Enforce property regulations and emergency procedures
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Complete detailed reports of any security-related incidents
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid armed security guard license
- Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or security preferred
- Proficiency in conflict management and de-escalation techniques
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance operations
- Ability to handle firearms safely and effectively
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is desirable
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies is a plus .
Compensation:
- Starting wage range: $18 to $20 per hour
