Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and nurturing care to children in a safe environment.
- Engage children in activities that promote learning and development.
- Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions among children.
- Assist with daily routines such as meal preparation, providing consistent eating and sleep schedule, and daily cleaning.
- Maintain open communication with DCS and other staff regarding children's progress and any concerns.
- Organize age-appropriate games and activities to stimulate physical, emotional, and social growth.
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the childcare area at all times.
- Monitor children's behavior and provide guidance when necessary to foster a respectful atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in childcare settings such as nannying, babysitting, or early childhood education is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and behavior management techniques.
- Experience with infant care is a plus.
- Ability to create engaging activities tailored to different age groups.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children and DCS/ house staff alike.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children are essential traits for success in this role.
