Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a passion for childhood development. This role involves caring for children of various ages, ensuring their safety, and promoting their physical, emotional, and social growth through engaging activities.
Duties
- Provide attentive and responsive care to children in a transitional home setting.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that foster learning and development.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children during playtime, meals, and rest periods.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and exploration.
- Communicate effectively with DCS regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Monitor children's behavior and provide guidance to promote positive social interactions.
Requirements
- Experience in early childhood education or related fields such as daycare or preschool settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Familiarity with infant care techniques is a plus.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, DCS staff, and colleagues.
- Ability to create an inclusive environment for all children.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with children are essential traits.
