Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of early childhood education and development. This role involves creating a safe and engaging, ensuring their well-being, and fostering their growth through various activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities.
• Provide care for children of all ages from infant to teens.
• Manage behavior effectively by using positive reinforcement techniques.
• Communicate with DCS regarding the child's progress and any concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized space in transitional homes.
• Collaborate with other staff to create a supportive team environment.
• Stay updated on best practices in trauma-informed practices, childhood education and first aid.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles.
• Understanding of childhood development stages.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
• Experience in behavior management techniques.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care.
• Ability to educate children through play-based learning methods.
• Experience in nannying or providing childcare services is a plus.
• Proficient in range of caring for infants to teenage years.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
