Job Description:
Blue Life Security is seeking a vigilant and experienced Security Guard to join our team in Lebanon, Tennessee. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients, assets, and premises. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining a secure environment, possess excellent observation skills, and be capable of enforcing security protocols effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Personnel Safety: Protect clients by monitoring access points, conducting regular patrols, and responding promptly to any security concerns.
Prohibited Items: Ensure that no prohibited items are brought onto the site through thorough inspection and monitoring.
Emergency Response: Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, taking appropriate action to address and resolve situations as needed.
Access Control: Manage access control points, verify credentials, and enforce site-specific security policies.
Report Writing: Maintain accurate and detailed logs of security-related activities, incidents, and observations.
Collaboration: Coordinate and communicate effectively with other security personnel and relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a security guard or a related field.
- Strong understanding of security operations and procedures.
- Excellent observational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Effective communication skills.
- Flexibility in scheduling, including the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug test.
Compensation:
- Starting wage range: $17 to $19 per hour
- Overtime opportunities available
