As the Manager of Blue Line Coffee House, you will oversee all aspects of daily operations of both the coffee and merchandise side of the business, customer service, and inventory management across our two locations. You will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency, profitability, and overall success of the business. Your leadership, attention to detail, and ability to inspire the team will help maintain the high standards Blue Line is known for.

Operations & Team Leadership:

- Address any staffing or performance issues promptly and professionally.
- Help build our team by recruiting, interview, and hire new team members as needed who align with Blue Line Coffee House's values and culture.
Inventory & Stock Management:
- Oversee inventory control in both the coffee shop and gift shop, ensuring proper stock levels and timely reordering.
- Ensuring up-to-date inventory records, taking on re-orders as needed.
Customer Service & Shop Standards:
- Ensure all customer service, product quality, and cleanliness standards are consistently met in both areas.
- Manage customer feedback, resolve complaints, and enhance overall satisfaction.
Gift Shop Responsibilities:
- Manage visual merchandising in the gift shop, ensuring displays are appealing and items are easily accessible.
- Coordinate seasonal product changes to boost sales.
- Financial & Administrative Duties:
- Oversee cash handling, including end-of-day reconciliation and preparing bank deposits.
- Prior management experience, preferably in a retail or café setting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Experience managing inventory and merchandising, particularly in a gift or retail shop.
- Ability to multitask and manage a busy, fast-paced work environment.
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
- Must be able to use hands to prepare coffee and other beverages, clean, and manage store upkeep tasks.
