What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driving Instructor position at Blue Line Driving School?
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and certified Driving Instructor to join our team. As a Driving Instructor, you will play a crucial role in teaching students the necessary skills to become safe and responsible drivers.
It is preferred that you have a current DPAS or DITC.
Duties:
- Conduct driving lessons for students of varying skill levels (the pickup location for each student is their home, work, or school)
- Provide instruction on driving techniques, rules of the road, and safe driving practices
- Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment
- Assess students' driving abilities and provide constructive feedback
- Develop personalized lesson plans to meet individual student needs
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols during driving lessons
Skills:
- DITC or DPAS certificate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to educate and engage students effectively
- Knowledge of behind the wheel instruction techniques
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
