Blue Line Protection is hiring 8 professional security personnel (3 females and 5 males) for summer positions with a Thursday-Sunday schedule and weekend availability required. This is a perfect opportunity for veterans, retirees, transitioning military personnel, and college students seeking a rewarding role in civilian life.
Position Overview:
As a Security Guard, you will play a vital role in protecting our facilities, staff, and guests while delivering exceptional customer service to all visitors. A positive and jolly personality is a huge factor—we value team members who can maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor while ensuring safety and security.
Schedule:
• Thursday through Sunday (weekend availability is required)
• Hour flexibility is a must as we work based on client work orders
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular patrols to prevent and detect intrusions or suspicious activity
• Provide friendly, professional customer service to employees, visitors, and guests
• Maintain a positive and jolly attitude while interacting with the public and team members
• Monitor and report unusual behavior
• Ensure the safety of company property and personnel
• Respond swiftly to security incidents and follow established protocols
• Submit detailed reports at the end of every shift, documenting daily activities and any incidents
• Enforce access control and adhere to post orders
• Coordinate with law enforcement when necessary
Qualifications:
• Valid Georgia driver’s license and reliable transportation (no drop-offs or public transit) to Decatur
• Clean driving record
• Own a full-size firearm and personal duty belt (with handcuffs, gloves, baton, etc.)
• Age 30 and older required for these roles (except college students)
• Prior military or security experience preferred
• Customer service experience is mandatory
• A positive and jolly personality is highly valued
• College students are encouraged to apply—a great summer opportunity!
• Hour flexibility is required to accommodate changing client work orders
• Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures
• Ability to produce accurate and detailed reports at the end of each shift
• Excellent communication, report writing, and basic computer skills
• Ability to manage conflicts and stay calm under pressure
• Independent, reliable, and works well in a team environment
