Salary: $20.00 An Hour
Description: We are seeking a vigilant and reliable individual to join our team as an Armed Security Officer. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the safety and security of our client's premises, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong observational skills, effective communication abilities, and the capability to handle potentially stressful situations with professionalism and composure.
Responsibilities:
Patrol assigned areas regularly to deter and detect unauthorized activity.
Monitor surveillance cameras, individuals in store and cover entrance to store.
Conduct thorough inspections of large bags brought in by customers.
Respond promptly to requests for assistance or emergencies, such as medical incidents, disturbances, or accidents.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and clients with inquiries, directions, and other needs.
Collaborate effectively with local law enforcement agencies and emergency responders when necessary.
Follow company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, to uphold security standards and ensure compliance.
Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance knowledge of security protocols, emergency response procedures, and relevant laws.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Must be willing to work in an armed capacity.
Requirements:
Michigan or Indiana pistol permit
Minimum of two (2) years of experience carrying a firearm with zero disciplinary action for the misuse of firearms or use of force
Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
Must be comfortable around Cannabis products
Excellent surveillance and observation skills
Valid Drivers License
Reliable Transportation
High School diploma or GED is required; further education in security administration or a similar field is preferred
