Responsibilities:
- Regularly patrol designated areas to prevent and identify unauthorized activities.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect and address suspicious behavior or security breaches.
- Perform thorough inspections to ensure all doors, windows, and access points are securely locked.
- Respond quickly to requests for assistance or emergencies, including medical incidents, disturbances, or accidents.
- Keep accurate logs and reports of security incidents, disturbances, and other significant activities during your shift.
- Deliver excellent customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and clients with inquiries, directions, and other needs.
- Work effectively with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations to maintain security standards and ensure compliance.
- Engage in ongoing training to stay updated on security protocols, emergency response procedures, and relevant laws.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience as a security officer or guard.
- Completion of a 20-hour state certification course and possession of a PERC Card.
- Solid understanding of legal guidelines for security and public safety.
- Proficiency in report writing.
- Strong surveillance and observation skills.
- Valid Drivers License
- Reliable Transportation
High School diploma is required; further education in security administration or a similar field is preferred
