Overview:
We’re looking for a Help Desk Technician with at least one year of experience supporting end users in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has a strong customer service mindset, solid technical troubleshooting skills, and a desire to grow in the IT field. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for support, handling day-to-day technical issues, managing IT inventory, and contributing to internal documentation.
Work Hours:
Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level support via phone, email, web portal, or chat to resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Troubleshoot Windows-based systems, Microsoft Office 365, and basic network problems.
- Accurately document all support interactions and resolutions in the help desk ticketing system.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of hardware and software using standard tools and procedures.
- Support and maintain endpoint devices including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or appropriate teams when needed.
- Create, update, and improve internal knowledge base articles to support users and improve team efficiency.
- Track and manage IT assets and inventory, ensuring accurate records of hardware and software.
- Perform follow-up with users to confirm issue resolution and satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a help desk or IT support role.
- Familiarity with Windows OS and Microsoft Office 365 support.
- Experience with remote support tools, VPN, and remote desktop (RDP).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple support issues.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts such as IP addressing, DNS, and DHCP.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant IT coursework preferred.
Preferred Certifications (Not Required):
- CompTIA A , Network , or similar entry-level certification.
- Microsoft 365 Fundamentals or other relevant Microsoft certifications.
