Our Product Development Coordinator assists the product development team with managing data integrity throughout development systems and processes. This includes working with internal and overseas teams and licensors to secure accurate information.
This is a “hands-on” role where you will work cross-functionally with our Compliance, Inventory, Marketing, Operations, Overseas, Sales, and Special Projects teams. This team member needs to be detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
The Product Development Coordinator contributes to standards, templates, and practices for initiative management, contributing to continual process improvement for workflow. They use our project management tools for inter-departmental collaboration and lead cross-functional meetings with internal stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities
- As the Product Development Coordinator, you will aid in driving consistency of data, process, tools, results, and communication across cross functional businesses, with a focus on supporting simplification for the Product Development, Compliance, Inventory, and Operations teams.
- Your focus will be on keeping systems data, reports, and project trackers accurate and up to date using a collection of tools/software.
- Responsible for the organization, management, documentation, execution, and completion of development projects from Pre-production stage to PO.
- Manage communication with stakeholders, including, but not limited to, project status, escalation, milestone completion, and risks.
- Work with overseas offices and inventory department to update component changes in project management tools.
- Communicate throughout the organization as necessary by participating in meetings, presentations, one-on-one dialogue, etc.
- Record minutes and take detailed notes during meetings.
- Assists PD, sales team, licensors, and overseas teams with sample management and coordination.
- Assists PD team with product use testing and management.

Desired Qualifications
- 1 years’ experience in data management and using project management tools.
- Candidates must be able to quickly adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-directed, and extremely resourceful, able to aggregate information from various sources.
- Strong ability to organize and drive data management to hit deadlines and launch dates.
- Strong data management and project management skills are required.
- The ability to find solutions and remove obstacles is required as is understanding the impact of decisions.
- Strategic Agility-Understands key relationships relevant to achieving short & long-range objectives.
- Good command of Microsoft Office Suite applications; Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Workplace Arrangement
In-person collaboration is a key aspect of Blue Marble's work culture. This role is designated as a hybrid role, with three days a week expected at corporate headquarters in Ashland, Oregon. This arrangement allows for a balance between in-person collaboration and remote work flexibility.
