We are seeking a personable, hardworking, quick learner to join our team. In this position, you will manage and supervise a team of employees during the weekday staging and pricing process as well as one of the two days during our weekend estate sales. Initially, you will perform as a probationary employee as you receive paid training and gain experience. There will be opportunity for more growth and compensation once you have become proficient with our systems and after attaining a base knowledge of pricing and staging, as well as demonstrating leadership and customer service skills. Project completion incentives are also provided as goals are met.
Responsibilities :
- Ability to work 4 week days and 1 weekend day.
- Have a clear understanding of Blue Moon Estate Sales core values and brand standards.
- Provide oversight and direction to a team of employees in the operating unit in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
- Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the Blue Moon Estate Sales core values and brand standards.
- Appropriately communicate organizational information through department meetings, one-on-one meetings and appropriate email, IM and regular interpersonal communications.
- Provide effective performance feedback through team member recognition, rewards and disciplinary action, with the assistance of the Blue Moon Estate Sales - Worcester County owner when necessary.
- Develop personal growth opportunities and further the education of yourself and your team.
- Continuously review and learn from the materials provided by owners to increase knowledge of management and the Blue Moon Estate Sales - Worcester County business model.
- Maintain a safe, secure and legal work environment.
- Delegate responsibilities, and expect accountability and regular feedback.
- Motivate staff members to complete the staging and pricing process efficiently and within a time frame that supports the Blue Moon Business model while maintaining a high level of expectation
- Help to hire and train new team members.
- Learn POS and assist during sales when needed
