Are you a results-driven person? Are you interested in joining an exciting initiative at a reputable company? I’m hiring one new operator for a Matco Tool Truck Sales Route, located primarily around Dickson and Franklin, TN.

As a Tool Route Sales Rep, you will be responsible for operating one of our company- owned mobile stores.

You will be responsible for providing the sales and financing of automotive tools, equipment, and merchandise to customers on your route. In this role, you will call on leads, build strong relationships, identify new business, and maintain customers within your designated area. Your additional responsibilities require merchandising the mobile store as outlined through company policy, in addition to other related tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage mobile store sales within the assigned route resulting in sales of Matco tools, equipment, and merchandise.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts on the mobile store.
  • Build relationships and conduct personal sales calls to customers within the route.
  • Maintain accountability for sales, collections, and daily deposits of accounts receivable.
  • Maintain and take pride in the condition of the company store.
  • Interaction and sharing of best practices with teammates and leadership
  • Attend scheduled business meetings

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven sales or relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in building key stakeholder relationships and influence.
  • Ability to drive a 20ft commercial truck (commercial license not required).
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently and over 100 pounds occasionally.
  • High-energy level and motivation to achieve results.
  • Dedicated to meeting customer expectations and requirements.
  • Tech savvy; ability to use smartphones, payment apps, SaS products, and minor/basic troubleshooting
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license.
  • Must pass an alcohol and drug test upon request.
  • Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34,407.07 - $42,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay
  • Commission pay

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)
