Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of home remodeling projects. The ideal candidate will have experience managing construction or remodeling projects, a deep understanding of project management software like Job Tread and Hammer CRM, and excellent communication and organizational skills. This role requires someone who is comfortable leading teams, managing timelines, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee multiple home remodeling projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, timelines, and budget adherence.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Use Job Tread to track project progress, manage schedules, and communicate with team members and clients.
- Utilize Hammer CRM to manage customer communications, track project details, and ensure excellent customer service.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and resources, and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are met.
- Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, permits, and invoicing.
- Provide regular updates to clients and team members on project status, potential delays, and scope changes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the course of the project to ensure minimal disruption.
- Oversee project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining high standards of work.
- Lead and manage a team of contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring quality craftsmanship and effective collaboration.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality, and maintain strong client relationships.
- Handle project scheduling, resource allocation, and ensure timely procurement of materials.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the remodeling, construction, or related field.
- Strong working knowledge of project management software, including Job Tread and Hammer CRM.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle competing priorities.
- Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) and customer service skills.
- A keen eye for detail, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and find solutions in a timely manner.
- Knowledge of construction processes, codes, and regulations.
- Previous experience in budget management and cost control.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) is a plus but not required.
