Midlevel Medical Provider (Walla Walla)
This position supports the Health Support Team (HST) and Health Engagement Hub (HEH) programs in Walla Walla with TeleHealth support of the Kennewick office and occasional support of the Walla Walla County Jail patients. This permanent position qualifies for all BMHTH benefits and annual compensation ranges from $150,000 – $180,000. This position also qualifies for a $5,000 bonus paid at three and six months of service.
Duties :
- Ensure confidentiality and / or anonymity of all program participants who access any prevention and harm reduction services
- Perform initial assessment and on-going care of patients’ medical, physical and psychosocial status
- Evaluate health and medical history; perform a physical exam, conduct preventive screening
- Deliver medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) as appropriate.
- Accurate and timely documentation of observations, interventions, plan of care, referrals and follow-up
- Formulate appropriate differential diagnoses based on history, physical examination and diagnostic testing
- Make appropriate referrals to other health professionals and community agencies
- Chart progress notes as appropriate; integrate treatment plans with non-medical program staff to provide team-oriented, patient-centered care
- Regularly review chart notes of program staff and offer feedback
- Collect accurate charting data to assist monthly reporting requirements to Washington State Department of Health, University of Washington, NASTAD, and other collaborators
- Work in a variety of clinical settings including Walla Walla County Jail, Walla Walla and Kennewick Health engagement hub, and mobile health clinic
- Other duties as assigned
- Take call for Walla Walla County Jail one week per month
