Position Summary
The Phlebotomy Technician ensures high-quality blood collection and specimen preparation while maintaining patient trust and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and label blood samples accurately.
- Transport and process specimens, including centrifuging and testing.
- Maintain infection control and adhere to hospital procedures.
- Uphold HIPAA and confidentiality standards.
- Provide excellent patient care and communication.
- Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Phlebotomy certification (in-house or formal).
