What are the responsibilities and job description for the Camping/Glamping Attendant position at Blue Mountain Resort?
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are looking for a motivated individual to assist with the maintenance and upkeep of our camping and glamping services. Working underneath the Adventure Sports Supervisor and Director, you will be part of a team that helps with day-to-day operations to ensure everything runs smoothly, and that all necessary resources are available to create a memorable stay for our guests. This position requires availability Thursday through Sunday, from May through October.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- A passion for nature and outdoor activities, with a basic knowledge of camping equipment and fire safety.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to provide excellent service and engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical tasks like setting up equipment, cleaning, and maintaining outdoor spaces in various weather conditions.
- Ability to quickly address guest concerns, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a smooth, enjoyable experience for all visitors.
- Willingness to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays, and collaborate effectively with other team members to support resort operations.
- First Aid & CPR certification (preferred).

- Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting with check-ins, guiding guests through activities, and ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their stay.
- Engage in physical tasks, such as setting up campsites, maintaining glamping accommodations, and ensuring that all amenities and facilities are well-kept.
- Collaborate with other resort staff to ensure seamless operations, whether it's maintaining facilities, supporting events, or resolving guest concerns in a team-focused environment.
