Reporting to the Director of Hotel Operations, this position is responsible for supervising the Night Auditors by delegating job assignments and managing the work environment to ensure maximum efficiency while maintaining service standards and providing an healthy work environment as well as ensuring exceptional levels of guest service according to Westin Brand Standards. They oversee all hotel operations in absence of senior management.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
Reporting to the Director of Hotel Operations, this position is responsible for supervising the Night Auditors by delegating job assignments and managing the work environment to ensure maximum efficiency while maintaining service standards and providing an healthy work environment as well as ensuring exceptional levels of guest service according to Westin Brand Standards. They oversee all hotel operations in absence of senior management.
- Staff supervision, ensuring highest standards within front desk, telephone, guest services. Train, direct, coach & counsel Night Audit staff.
- Addressing guests’ concerns and feedback, and decide on appropriate compensation.
- Ensuring full compliance of all department policies, hotel rules and procedures and Westin company standards.
- Assisting in developing new improved policies and procedures.
- Processing Night Audit tasks, including balance of on command, balance of O&B master billing, posting of F&B BEOs, Spring Miller Systems.
- Leading hotel’s Emergency Response team at Night.
- Proven ability to manage challenging and dynamic situations tactfully and appropriately to a resolution (i.e. customer relations, inventory management, hotel emergencies etc.)
- Strong ability and aptitude with computer-based tools and systems (i.e. Excel, Access, NAV, hotel information system)
- Hotel management, hospitality management or business management diploma / degree preferred
- 2 years’ experience within Front Desk or Housekeeping operations
- Accounting education or knowledge preferred
- Previous hotel supervisory experience preferred
