Job Summary
Blue Mountain Therapy has an immediate need for an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to serve in our pediatric outpatient clinic in Norton, VA.
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will administer occupational therapy to students in a school environment. This is performed in accordance with physicians' orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist (OT).
Required Skills:
- Graduate of an approved two-year college-level program.
- Current license to practice occupational therapy in state(s) in which practicing.
- Current driver's license and automobile insurance in state of employment, and the ability to travel within a 30 to 60-mile radius on a daily basis.
- Is responsible for adhering to all practice standards as they apply to patient care.
Required Experience:
- 1 year
- Previous pediatric experience preferred
