Position Summary: The Instrumental Band Support Staff provides essential technical administrative assistance to the band director and student musicians. This position ensures music classes, rehearsals, performances, and related activities run smoothly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide group and/or individual band lessons to elementary students.
Provide and/or assist in band lessons to students in grades 7-12.
Ensure instruments and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
Logistics & Equipment Management:
Organize transportation and loading/unloading of instruments and gear for away events.
Maintain inventory of instruments, uniforms, sheet music, and supplies.
Report damaged or missing equipment to the director.
Student Assistance:
Provide guidance and supervision to student leaders and section members.
Support students during performances, competitions, and travel
