Responsibilities:
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (tractor-trailers) in accordance with all DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, including temperature monitoring systems on reefers.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of driving activities.
- Transport goods to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Clean driving record (MVR).
- Current DOT medical card.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures, including those specific to refrigerated transport.
- 2-3 years of verifiable experience operating both refrigerated and dry van trailers is required.
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs). Samsara preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
