Position Overview: As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our business by generating new leads and qualifying prospects. You will work closely with the Director of Sales to identify potential customers, nurture relationships, and set up meetings for the team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about board games, highly organized, and eager to develop a career in sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify and research active and potential customers in target markets. Use various channels such as social media, email, and phone calls to reach out to active customers and prospects.
- Outreach: Conduct outbound calls and send personalized emails to engage with customers and prospects. Maintain consistent follow-up to build relationships.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Sales to align on target markets, messaging, and sales strategies.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the company’s CRM system. Track progress and update the sales pipeline regularly.
- Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings and product demonstrations between qualified leads and the sales team.
- Market Feedback: Gather insights from prospects to help refine our sales approach and inform product development.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in a sales development or similar role, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and effectively with potential clients.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills.
- Proficiency in using Tech Stack such as MS Office, Netsuite, Mailchimp, Quickbooks...
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Knowledge & Interest: A passion for board games and familiarity with the industry is a plus.
- Location: Philadelphia, PA preferred but open to anywhere in the area.
