Job Responsibilities:
Fabrication:
- Construct and assemble signs using materials such as metal, acrylic, wood, and plastic.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC routers, and other shop equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and design specifications.
- Ensure quality control and precision in sign construction.
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, priming, and masking.
- Apply paint, stains, and protective coatings using spray guns, brushes, and rollers.
- Mix and match paint colors to meet project requirements.
- Maintain paint equipment, tools, and materials for optimal performance.
- Install signs on-site, including wall-mounted, freestanding, illuminated, and vehicle graphics.
- Use bucket truck, ladders, lifts, and scaffolding to mount signs safely and securely.
- Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and local codes.
- Troubleshoot and repair signs as needed.
- Experience in sign fabrication, painting, or related trade (preferred, but willing to train).
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience in spray painting and finishing techniques (preferred, but willing to train).
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights.
- Welding and electrical experience (preferred, but willing to train).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
