The Corporate Development team is responsible for generating, managing, and executing mergers and acquisitions, minority investments, and partnership activities. As part of a small team responsible for originating, executing, and supporting acquisitions, you'll work to elevate Blue Origin’s worldwide deal-making profile.
You will work closely with our business units to identify inorganic growth opportunities. You will support the senior leadership team by conducting industry research, investment analysis, due diligence, acquisition term sheets and contract negotiations, and both internal and external relationship building. In this role, you will be an entrepreneurial thinker who can make convincing, information-based arguments, demonstrating a strong bias for action.

Responsibilities:
Perform and support financial analysis, synergies forecast, valuation and due diligence of potential acquisitions
Partner with business units to evaluate inorganic growth opportunities
Collaborate with functional due diligence teams, including legal, finance & accounting, tax, human resources, operations, IT, sales, and strategy
Support deal flow process from term sheet signature to integration
Support pre-transaction due diligence efforts
Evaluate opportunities and risks in potential transactions
Perform research, reporting and analysis on M&A activity in the industry
Draft investment memos and recommendations for all stages of the deal process (sourcing to integration planning)
Build and maintain tools, analytics, and reporting to highlight performance measurements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related analytical field
0 to 3 years of demonstrated ability in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, venture capital, finance, or consulting.
Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High proficiency with valuation modeling and techniques
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Compensation Range for:
WA applicants is $78,943.00-$110,519.85Other site ranges may differ
