This role is part of the Lunar Transportation business unit, which develops Blue Origin's multiple Blue Moon lander product lines. To further Blue Origin's mission of having millions of people living and working in space, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.
As part of a growing, hardworking, and curious team of design engineers, you'll be deployed to programs that shape the future of Blue Origin. Your skill in the analysis of spacecraft structures to support delivery of safe, reliable, ready-to-install hardware that meets requirements, while doing so within theallocatedcost and schedule requirements, will lead to a rewarding career with Blue Origin.
Responsibilities :
- Design of various pressure vessel types, and shapes to accommodate vehicle space allocation and integration envelope.
- Design of fluid lines and flex elements for cryogenic and space application.
- Drawing generation, including tolerance and GD&T setup.
- Ownership of design release cycle, including drawings release, and DFM reviews.
- Analysis of primary and secondary spacecraft pressure vessels
- Integration of structural analysis with loads and dynamics environments
- Finite Element Model development, refinement, validation, and correlation to tests
- Strength checks and analysis report generation
- Test and verification plan and report generation
- Support configuration development and trade studies
Minimum Qualifications :
o External loads
o Vibro-acoustic analysis
o Thermal Loading
o Analysis using Nastran, Ansys, Abaqus, LS-Dyna, or Optistruct

Compensation Range for :
CA applicants is $136,467.00-$191,053.80;CO applicants is $125,480.25-$175,672.35;WA applicants is $136,467.00-$191,053.80
