We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Software Development Manager to lead Blue Origin's Business Operating Systems Technology team. This leader will manage a team of skilled software developers and drive them to execute an ambitious roadmap.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development, outstanding leadership skills, and a passion for innovation in aerospace.

The position is a part of the Enterprise Technology (ET) organization, where we develop the digital infrastructure required to build the road to space and advance Blue Origin's mission. Enterprise Technology serves as the center of excellence for digital technology at Blue Origin, providing oversight and governance to align technology with business strategies.

Key responsibilities include :

• Leading, mentoring, and growing a team of software engineers, while fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Regularly presenting strategic initiatives to Sr. Directors and other executives.
• Collaborating extensively with Senior and Principal engineers to identify optimal technical architectures.
• Driving their team's operational excellence and delivering industry-leading, high-quality technical solutions.
• Overseeing the design, implementation and launch of enterprise resource planning software.
• Owning critical workstreams on complex projects.
• Optimizing software development processes to enhance productivity and quality.
