We are looking for an Associate to help in supporting the liquid credit initiatives around operations and reporting. Our group is dedicated to servicing structures that are mostly invested in syndicated loans, bonds, private equities and third-party CLO equity tranches.
- Support/assist with liquidity and financing arrangements for multiple leverage facilities
- Assist with loan closing and trade settlement
- Assist with processing amendments on underlying collateral
- Understanding of KYC process and setting up trading accounts with various counterparties
- Communication with custodian and counterparties
- CLO compliance, reviewing tests and indenture definitions
- Confirming trade activity/allocation/settlement & cash reconciliation
- Supporting Portfolio Manager/Trader with cash management and projections
- Assisting with summarizing expenses
- Review valuation on underlying collateral
- Data maintenance and oversight
- Assist with Ad Hoc reporting on investments
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in finance or related discipline
- 3-5 years financial services/securities industry experience in operations and loan operations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn technology and systems currently in place
- Solid client relationship management skills
It is expected that the base annual salary range for this New York City-based position will be $90,000 - $110,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
