Blue Owl's Net Lease Real Assets Investment team is seeking an Associate to join the Real Assets Due Diligence and Closing team. The ideal candidate will either have experience working as a due diligence analyst in a commercial real estate firm.
Since its inception, our Real Assets platform has established itself as a leader in private equity real estate, offering flexible capital solutions to investment-grade and creditworthy tenants across asset classes and geographies. We seek to provide investors with predictable current income and the potential for appreciation while focusing on limiting downside risk.
Our core Net Lease real estate strategies focus on acquiring single-tenant, free-standing properties across industrial, essential retail, and office sectors that are net-leased, long-term, to investment grade and creditworthy tenants. This combination seeks to create predictable cash flow from long-term rents, providing investors with current income, net of fees, plus appreciation and limited downside risk.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate due diligence process and deadlines across multiple deals, from the time a term sheet is signed until closing of escrow
- Order third party due diligence reports such as Survey, Zoning, Environmental Phase I’s and Property Condition Assessments.
- Review environmental Phase I’s and Property Condition Assessments (training will be provided)
- Work with outside counsel on legal due diligence issues.
- Prepare rent rolls and other schedules to attach to leases
- Prepare closing settlement statement and coordinate with title company on closings
- Work with internal and external insurance advisors to ensure appropriate insurance coverages are placed ahead of closing
- Handle administration of entities, including the creation of organization charts
- Additional projects or support to the team as needed
- 1-4 years as a real estate due diligence analyst focused on construction and development.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- An interest in building a career in the real estate field.
