Blue Palms Health and Rehabilitation of DeLand is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to work with our Housekeeping Staff. The candidate should have experience in a similar position and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
As a Housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for ensuring that the facility rooms are clean and well-maintained. You will work closely with other staff members to ensure that facility needs are met promptly.
Responsibilities
- Clean rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to established standards and procedures
- Perform deep cleaning of rooms including carpets and upholstery
- Report any maintenance issues to the maintenance team
- Restock supplies in rooms and public areas
- Dispose of trash and recycling properly
- Follow all safety and security procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous housekeeping experience required
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work every other weekend, flexible hours and Holidays
