Responsibilities
- Safely transport residents/patients to their destinations in a timely manner
- Load and unload residents onto vehicles
- Check vehicle for mechanical and safety issues before and after each trip
- Follow traffic laws and maintain a safe driving record
- Provide excellent customer service and assist passengers with disabilities, if needed
- Plan routes and maintain navigation systems
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
